Prior to forming Über Consortio, Josh Tang served as President and Chief Operating Officer of MediaVast, Inc. (owner of WireImage, Contour Photos, and FilmMagic), where he oversaw business development, long-term strategic development, and new initiatives. Josh constantly evaluated emerging technologies and their relevance to MediaVast’s business model, most notably leading the Company’s efforts in multi-channel content delivery. An original founder in the Company, Josh was instrumental in areas such as international growth and team building. In April 2007, Getty Images Inc. (NYSE: GYI) acquired MediaVast, Inc. (www.mediavast.com) along with its WireImage, Contour Photos, and FilmMagic brands.

Prior to founding MediaVast in 1999, Josh spent five years in the investment banking industry at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and Salomon Brothers, specializing in mergers and acquisitions and strategic advisory work for broadcast, cable, diversified media, entertainment, publishing, and other communications companies. Josh is a graduate of the Undergraduate Program from the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley

Prior to forming Über Consortio, Stephen Mao served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of MediaVast, Inc. (owner of WireImage, Contour Photos, and FilmMagic), where he oversaw MediaVast's legal department and spearheaded the Company's legal strategy, ensuring the Company's leadership in acquiring, protecting, and licensing rights to its visual content worldwide. In April 2007, Getty Images Inc. (NYSE: GYI) acquired MediaVast, Inc. (www.mediavast.com) along with its WireImage, Contour Photos, and FilmMagic brands.

Before joining MediaVast in November 2003, Stephen was an associate in the M&A group at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, LLP in New York. Prior to Skadden, Stephen served as a judicial extern for Judge Alex Kozinski of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in California. Stephen is a graduate of the University of Chicago Law School and the University of California at Los Angeles.
